Samsung supports Lopez Museum's PROPAGANDA

Lopez Museum is one of the oldest privately owned library that is open to the public, located at the ground floor of Benpres Building, Ortigas Center. It is known to have a collection of Filipiniana titles, rare Philippine imprints (17th Century), maps, Rizaliana and more.


Recently the museum features PROPAGANDA, the gathering of works of the artists like Nunelucio Alvaro, Santiago Bose, Joey Cobcobo, Don M. Salubayba and Alvin Yapan together with the collection of the library. For example the works of Juan Luna, Felix Hidalgo, Napoleon Abueva, Fernando Amorsolo, Jose Joya and Cesar Legaspi. Co-curated by Ricky Francisco and Ethel Villafranca.



PROPAGANDA is supported by the Samsung Electronic Philippines, providing innovative tablets and television units to properly visualized and understand the information of a particular artwork. They also have an art-focused wherein, you have to focus the tablet on the artwork and a different level of animation can be seen. 

The PROPAGANDA is at Lopez Museum will run from February to May 30, 2015. The library is open from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Saturday.Admission fees are P100 (Adult), student with ID P60 (elementary), P80 (high school/college/senior citizen/teacher). The proceeds from the admission will go the care and preservation of the museum.
